About this webinar
Trends in Radiography is delivered as a scheduled, moderated webinar. Sessions run twice a day, at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Central, every day except Thursday. The scheduled block is 4 hours, and 3.5 hours of recorded attendance are required for credit. There is no post-test and no quiz — attendance is the requirement, and a moderator is in the room throughout for questions.
Learning objectives
After attending this activity, participants will be able to:
- 1Summarise the technological changes reshaping diagnostic imaging, including photon-counting detectors and advanced reconstruction.
- 2Describe how artificial intelligence is being applied to acquisition, triage and image interpretation, and what remains the technologist's responsibility.
- 3Discuss the effect of dose-monitoring programmes, registries and appropriateness criteria on daily practice.
- 4Explain the expanding scope of practice for radiologic technologists and the credentials attached to it.
- 5Identify the workforce, workflow and patient-experience pressures currently facing imaging departments.
